Athaare’s got quality product, but it’s up to you to bring it home!

Leave It On

Henna/Jagua releases dye that needs time to be absorbed by your skin. Leave the paste/gel on for 3-6 hours once dry. We promise, it’s worth the wait! Your henna/jagua will dry pretty quickly, leaving you free to go about your day, with just a little bit of extra caution and without fear of smudging or transferring!

avoid water*

When ready to remove, do not rinse. Instead, rub or peel off the paste/gel, or use oil/lotion to help, and avoid unnecessary water exposure in the first few hours. Henna/jagua sits only on the very top layer of skin, and a fresh stain is very delicate. It needs a chance to develop and mature, and excess water exposure will hinder it!

 be gentle

Avoid repeated/excess water exposure, chemical or overly fragranced products (ex: chlorine or cleaning agents), and skin exfoliation - It weakens the stain, preventing maturity or causing it to fade faster! Keep it warm and moisturized for best results! “Take care of it like you would your skin.”

Henna/Jagua can be affected by other factors, including climate and skin type, but doing these few extra steps will ensure you will be happy with the final result!
